Description

The driving behaviour of the trailer is constantly monitored by the ATC. Sensors detect dangerous lateral movements directly on the trailer axle, even before an ESP for trailers in the car can register the swaying movement. The trailer is immediately braked gently – without the driver having to intervene – and brought back into a stable driving condition. The emergency system reacts automatically if the vibrations of the vehicle combination exceed limit values.

Selection of the variant: Determine the variant according to the permissible total weight of the caravan registered in the vehicle registration certificate and also compare the registered unladen weight of the caravan. The variants are specified with a ""minimum empty weight"". The ATC variant must be within the permissible total weight and above the minimum unladen weight. (Example: permissible total weight 1850kg - unladen weight 1500kg results in the variant - minimum unladen weight 1300kg and permissible total weight 1801-2000kg).
