The sine wave inverter works with the 12 V current coming from the on-board battery and, thanks to the ACT (AC Transfer) function, also with the current from the external power grid, if available when the vehicle is stationary. The external power supply has priority and the switchover is automatic to conserve battery power. The control electronics ensure optimum operation and also provide short-circuit and overload protection. Two Schuko output sockets and a USB port for charging a mobile device are available.
