Simple operation of your choice
The brain of the Oyster V is its control unit, the FeatureBox. It calculates and controls. With the Vision version, you communicate with the FeatureBox via the control panel; with the Premium version, you use your TV remote control. Thanks to the mobile phone app, you can now also control the FeatureBox with your smartphone. The basic operating functions are available to you and you can, for example, switch the aerial on or off from outside, change satellites or display the system settings.

A giant leap
The height when folded is only approx. 17 cm (even with the TWIN version and with SKEW)! The reason for this is the clever design solution: the curved shape of the feed arm allows space-saving storage.

A cable is a cable
When we talk about the one-cable solution, we mean it. There is no additional cable for the power supply. We use a special coaxial cable that is responsible for the control, power supply and signal transmission of the outdoor unit. Of course, a second coaxial cable is added to the TWIN version.

No chance for wobble candidates!
The stability of the Oyster V is the result of resourceful engineering and the latest, high-quality materials used in racing. The mirror arm is made from a single piece of ultra-light magnesium. This makes it extremely stable and torsion-resistant despite its low weight.

Don't look for it. Find it!
The Oyster V knows where the satellites are at all times. This eliminates the need for annoying all-round searches. The system is accurately orientated towards the satellite. The reason for this technological advantage is the interplay of three components: GPS, 3D compass and tilt sensor. The GPS determines the location, the 3D compass determines the direction in which your vehicle (and therefore the aerial) is pointing and the tilt sensor identifies any tilt of the vehicle and initiates the precise levelling movement of the aerial.

Armed against changes
Your Oyster V receives updates online via your smartphone (or alternatively via USB stick). This is anything but a gimmick. The update is sent directly to your mobile phone and can be entered into the system from there. You can download a free app for your Oyster V, which opens up a whole range of valuable options in addition to the update function. For example, we will inform you immediately if we detect a change in satellite characteristics. You will then know what the cause of the fault is and will receive the update as quickly as possible. Your mobile phone is connected to the Oyster V control unit via the app. If a technical fault occurs, in most cases it can be diagnosed using the Oyster app. This data can then be sent to customer service.
