The Voyager SAT system is a manual SAT system. The vehicle must be level for correct tilting. Otherwise the tilt value has to be adjusted accordingly. Once the tilt has been adjusted, the parabolic mirror simply has to be turned to the south via the mast inside the vehicle. The antenna is controlled via an external operating unit (controller unit). Nine satellite positions (e.g. BAstra 1, Hotbird, etc.) are already pre-programmed in the control unit. Another three are freely programmable.
This model is equipped with a measuring scale for manual positioning of the satellite.
